Amazon PPC Ads Case Study: 800+ Product Sales Boost

Implementing paid ads on Amazon for a beauty client resulted on 33% uplift in revenue MoM

The Problem

A beauty client was running organic product listings across Amazon, using an unoptimised brand store and product listings which did not meet best practices.

They were keen to invest with a limited budget, to test the impact of appearing in paid placements across relevant queries on Amazon.

The Solution

WRP implemented a holistic approach to the Amazon activity. Starting with optimisations to the brand store and product listings to improve the likelihood of conversion.

WRP then launched Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands campaigns, targeting key products and relevant keywords and ASIN’s.

Results

They saw 33% uplift in overall Amazon generated revenue and +32% in sales volume. Over 800 extra sales a month. Despite the ads budget being limited the paid ads contributed 26% of the overall revenue and sales at a very efficient ROAS of 4.3.

Due to the success of the activity over the first month, we have been able to increase investment in paid ads on Amazon and drive further uplift in sales and revenue for our client whilst maintaining ROAS efficiency.

Both revenue and sales volume increased as a result of ads implementation
