Hey everyone, today I want to talk about our alert system. That's something we run for all of our clients, but it's also something that we have on our in -house packages as well. So if you pick one of the in -house packages from business or enterprise, you get access to 68 standard alerts. If you're on the enterprise bracket, we can write customer alerts for you as well. But sort of, I just want to go through what are they, what do they do, why you should care about them. And also lay down a bit of a challenge so that you can then...

see whether these are going to be valuable in your business. And if you go to our in -house page, which is on the screen right now, you will see a list of all 68 of those alerts and go through them and see what they are. And imagine that you have to check those every single day on the account. In reality, probably should be checking them every day on every account that you look at. And there's an awful lot there and it will take you a long time.

And that's sort of the challenge really is to look at this because one of two things happens. You either spend all your day doing these checks on all of the platforms or they don't get done. And then what happens is if they don't get done, it starts to erode away at the performance of the account slowly all the time. And it is pretty much impossible for someone to check these every day because you would be doing nothing else. I just want to go through what some of the, how you would see them in the platform, what they do.

And how to use them so you've got some idea of what that is. So if we start off at just what that sort of looks like, if you log in, this is our demo account, so this isn't client data. This is what you would see. You would actually only see one of these because you would have one account as you probably have one website. And at the moment I've got.

Two here on the screen, one is a fashion brand which has lots of the PPC paid social and some customer alerts in there. There's over a hundred alerts on that one and also the Amazon brand there. And these are set to sort of just automatically trigger every day so that you have an idea of what they look like when they come in. And this is sort of how we...

If you listed out all of the alerts in your account, this is what you would see. And what you can do here, you can go in and you can delete the alert. You can look at all the times that the alert has run. So you can download the output from that day. You can download the latest output that's come from that alert. You can actually run the alert because these alerts run every single morning and you can edit the alert as well.

Um, and this'll, you know, give you an idea. This is what it will look like. Um, it's lots of SQL and text in there as well. And what we do every day is we download all of the data from Google, Bing, Meta, TikTok, Amazon. We download all of your account data into big query. We have importers that take that in every single day. It's a huge amount of data that that P come in.

Those queries then run on that data every morning at the same time. And if they're triggered, you will see an alert like this in the dashboard. And that can be green, amber, red. They're set really. So if it's green, it's sort of something that's good. You should look into it because there's an opportunity to make more out of that. Amber is something, it might be something you want to have a look at. It might not be critical, but it could be something that's important. And.

Red is you really should have a look at this. I mean, too, that you can see here on the screen, you know, Amazon late shipping rate warning and Amazon order defect rate above one percent. Massively important if you're an Amazon account, because if your order defect rate goes above one percent, then they'll stop you from advertising. And you can also lose the buy box on your products, which means it's pretty much impossible to buy products on Amazon. So. If you're not logging into Amazon every day and looking at that.

He's a check that that will come up every single day and just just give you this alert. And, you know, it just gives you an idea of some of the some of the things that we can run in these alerts. And if we swap over these are some of the PPC letters, an awful lot of them. You know, things like, you know, old sale ads live so we can run an alert that looks for, you know, particular words. So it could be 20 % discount or 20 % offer an offer code in the ad text.

run that against all of your ads. And so it will just give you an alert if you've got all sale ads, because sometimes really difficult to go through and pick all of those out. If you've got a huge count, lots of ads running ads, run into 404s and sort of. You know what we look at this, we, you know, we, we reckon there's probably five or six hours a day. It would take you to start up going to the platforms and manually download all this data and run through it and find them. You know, just think how, how much time it would take you.

to find all keywords that you spent money on in the last seven days that haven't led to a sale, or all keywords that in the last seven days on average have had a drop in CTR in the last 24 hours. All things like that which can just be automated and runs alerts. So they can be really useful if you're running in -house because this just takes a lot of pressure off you. You can just wait, look in this dashboard first thing in the morning.

download all of the alerts and go through them and tick them off so that they're all fixed. And that's it. I just wanted to give you an idea of what this looks like and what you would see when you log in. You'll see three buttons here. One is to actually run the alert again. So you can run the alert from here. One is to check the alert off so it stops showing you. You've basically dealt with that alert. The other one is to download the CSV spreadsheet of all of the ad groups or ads.

that are relevant to that particular alert and then it will. It can be checked off as well after that and that's it. So that's the alert system. It's part of our Polymetrics dashboard. It's really simple. We set up all of these standard alerts for you so that they're set up. If you're on the enterprise platform, then you can either write custom alerts yourself. If you've got someone who could write SQL or you can ask us to write those and we'll we'll put those together for you and that's it.

Thanks for watching.
